Kippford View Holiday Park is a small, privately-owned hillside park overlooking the Urr estuary, on the Dumfries and Galloway coast. Known for many years as Barlochan Caravan Park, we joined the Gillespie Leisure Group in 1982 and carry more than forty years of experience as a quietly-loved small park. The sailing village of Kippford is a short walk away, close enough to wander down for dinner at the village pub and walk back under the stars.

On site you’ll find a seasonal heated outdoor pool, well-used by the park’s returning families through the summer, along with an outdoor children’s play area. The sailing village of Kippford, with its pub and shops, is a short walk from the park gate, and fishing at Big Barwhanny Loch is a short drive away.
Kippford is one of the Solway coast's prettiest villages, a cluster of white-washed cottages, bobbing yachts and a tidal causeway across to Rough Island, which you can walk at low tide. The village pub sits on the water's edge and is a short walk from the park.
Inland, Dalbeattie Forest is one of Scotland's original 7stanes mountain biking centres and a fine place to walk. A short drive south opens up the wider Galloway coast: Rockcliffe, Sandyhills and miles of quiet sandy bays. With Kippford View as your base, it's all on your doorstep.
