• From Edinburgh, around 2 hours 30 minutes

• From Carlisle, around 1 hour 20 minutes

• From Newcastle, around 2 hours 30 minutes

• From Manchester, around 3 hours 15 minutes

From the A75, take the exit for Dalbeattie. From Dalbeattie, follow the A710 Solway Coast Road south towards Kippford. Kippford View Holiday Park is signposted on the left as you approach Palnackie, the same park many will know as Barlochan.

Getting to Kippford View by Public Transport

The nearest railway station is Dumfries, around 18 miles from the park, with regular connections from Glasgow and Carlisle.

By Bus
Stagecoach bus services link Dumfries and Dalbeattie regularly. Local taxi services from Dalbeattie cover the short final leg to the park, advance booking is recommended.
