A small, well-kept hillside park, with a village pub on foot and fishing nearby.

Kippford View is deliberately small and cleanly laid out. Everything on park is close to hand, and the village of Kippford, with its pub, shops and the tidal causeway to Rough Island, is a short walk from the gate. Heated Outdoor Pool (Seasonal)

A heated outdoor pool set into the hillside, open from mid-May to mid-September and popular with the three-generation families who make up a good portion of the park's regulars. Weather-dependent.

Children's Play Area

Outdoor play area on park, room to run around without leaving the gate. Open from 1 April to 31 October.

Kippford Village Pub, On Foot

Kippford village is a short walk from the park. The harbour-side pub is the kind of place holidays get planned around.

Fishing at Big Barwhanny Loch

A short drive from the park, a peaceful loch with good fishing and even better views. Permits/rules available locally.

From the park, a short walk takes you into Kippford village. A short drive south opens up Rockcliffe, Sandyhills and miles of Solway coastline. Dalbeattie Forest is the other way, with 7stanes trails and forest walks within easy reach.
